meet the team
Mark Conliffe, DO
Founder & Medical Director
“Stay Awake, Engage, Be Kind.”
With a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University and board certifications in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Pain Medicine, Dr. Conliffe is dedicated to lifestyle-based medical practices.
He established his own practice straight out of residency, treating painful musculoskeletal conditions without relying on traditional medications or surgery. During his medical school years, he observed a recurring theme: the technically correct first response to numerous clinical queries - "diet and exercise” - was frequently overshadowed by conventional treatment. This sparked the inception of FIT IN LOU - “having a lifestyle-focused medical practice allows me to put the ‘correct’ answer in to actual practice.”
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Conliffe enjoys planning for “The Farm,” a vision he holds dear, and volunteering at Blackacre Nature Reserve with his family. He also has a personal vision of opening a clinic to treat PTSD.

Ross Kowzan
FOUNDER & Chief Growth Officer
“Be Human First”
With a background in Biological Sciences, Ross earned his Master’s in Sports Medicine and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University.
After a decade at a private integrative medicine practice in Louisville, Ross’ entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch the Cryo Club in 2018, a pioneering venture introducing whole body cryotherapy to Louisville.
As Chief Growth Officer, Ross leads FIT IN LOU’s outreach and community engagement. He combines professional acumen with deep empathy and a relentless drive to better the community. Ross takes pride in being “boots on the ground”, building mutually.beneficial partnerships, and creating a meaningful legacy for his family and community.
